Military 5k & 10k Series - CARDIFF

Please note: Our Cardiff event is now closed for online entry. We will be accepting entries on the day, but you must pay your entry fee in cash only as we will not have credit facilities on the day.

  • Saturday 13 March 2010
  • Private 4x4 driving land near Usk.
  • Little Trostrey Farm, Near Kemeys Commander, Usk, Monmouthshire, NP15 1LD
  • Start time 10:00hrs

We return to Usk in March 2010 for another exciting Military 5k and 10k series. The course is tough, challenging but loads of fun. Trees, hills, mud, water, obstacles... a recipe for guaranteed excitment. You don't have to be a BMF member to take part, and if you feel the 10k course may be a little out of reach, perhaps sign up for the 5k instead.

The Venue

The entire route is designed on a private 4x4 driving property. The property includes an airfield and a Military Tank Driving School. Yes - you read right! As a civilian, you can learn to drive a real Military Army Tank. For further information on the landowners tank driving school, please visit his homepage by clocking his logo below.

On event day, you will have access to portable toilets, changing and storage facilities. The venue is located approximately 30 minutes drive from Cardiff city.

If you would like to see some more images of our course, please please click here to visit our Military Series photo gallery.

The exact location of the venue will be emailed out to those taking part approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
