London Athletics Day - Battersea Park

Get your trainers ready, pack a picnic, round up your support crew and head over to Battersea Park for a fantastic afternoon of athletic activities. The weather is warming up, and it's the perfect excuse to spend some time outdoors with fellow BMFer's, friends and family. We have exclusively hired the Battersea Athletics track for the occasion.

Our Athletics Day is a social afternoon, combined with activities such as running, jumping and throwing. All levels of fitness and ability are encouraged to get involved.

Activities will include 100m, 400m, 1500m, relays, high jump, long jump and shot put. At this time of year, picnics are a must, so fill your hamper, bring a blanket and find yourself a nice spot to sit on the grass whilst enjoying an afternoon of activities. If you're not feeling up for the activities this time around, come along anyway to enjoy the social side of the day and support those taking part.

Registration: 12 noon - 12:30 (Registration will close at 12:30 sharp)
Event: 13:00hrs - 17:00hrs
Entry on the river side of the track of The Millenium Stadium, Albert Bridge Road, SW11 4NJ

Cost: £5 BMF members, £10 non-members, £1 spectators*

*Spectators under 16 enter for free.

*All profits from the day will be donated to charity(Royal Society for Protection of Birds). This charity aims to protect nature habitats, birds and wildlife.

Entry Information:

Competitors may be limited to a certain number of events on the day.
Competitors will be issued with an entry card during the registration process. This entry card will be stamped by a marshal for each event that you enter.
Prizes will be awarded for different categories.
All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable
There will be no food available for purchase at the event as we suggest bringing your own picnic. You cannot however bring any glass with you, and bags will be checked by venue staff on arrival.
Further information in regards to the day will be sent to you via email 1 week prior to the event day. You will not recieve anything via post.
Competitor entries will not be accepted on the day. They must be prepaid online.

If you did not want to take part on the day, but would love to help out, your assistance would be greatly appreciated by the BMF team.
