The unofficial BMF calendar...thanks to BMF Watford members
With BMF Watford's 1st year anniversary coming up, the members decided to do something a little different.
Members at the park spread the word as quietly as they could and asked as many members as possible if they were able to come along on a Sunday morning for a calendar photo shoot. A selection of bibs were slyly 'borrowed' as well to make the photos even more authentic!
Watford BMF members met on the coldest Sunday of the year and started to copy the poses of the official calendar...
"The idea of topless men came about when we realised how cold it actually was, not that there was a single complaint from them, some horrified stares from other park users but no complaints or refusals!" says Caroline Braxton, calendar organizer and BMF Watford member.
Knowing that everyone couldn't attend every session the members spread the celebrations over the week in true birthday style including a BMF van covered in balloons, champagne, cupcakes and the presentation of the calendar to the instructor, Mathew Moine.
