What first made you attend the classes?

(C) Needed to get fit and lose weight but I was really bored of going or just not going to the gym and saw an article in the Times Magazine.

(H) I wanted to tone up and get fit and Chas, my husband, really rated BMF and seemed to be really enjoying it so I thought why not and I was finding too many excuses not to go to my local aerobics class!

Why have you stayed with BMF?

(C) Really enjoying it, nothing else needs to be said.

(H) I really enjoy the classes even though I find it hard at times. The classes are never the same and I enjoy being outside (even in the winter!) I think I am becoming addicted because I hate missing classes! – how sad am I?!

What do you enjoy most about the classes?

(C) Sense of achievement, enjoyment and the encouragement and motivation from the other BMFers and of course the instructors

(H) Firstly the people in the group, everyone is really fun and there is a great sense of teamwork. Also the sense of achievement I feel after running up and down Parliament Hill ten times!

What aspect(s) do you least enjoy about the classes?

(C) Parliament Hill

(H) Burpees!

How much has your fitness and health improved since you started the classes?

(C) Hugely, can’t believe I can run for longer than 30 minutes without dying

(H) Massively and I am losing weight and toning up too!

What would you say to anyone who was thinking about taking a free class with BMF?

(C) Even if you think it’s not for you just try it and I promise you, you will be surprised, what have you got lose?

(H) Have an open mind and just try it, don’t be frightened off by the thought of military fitness. It is amazing how much can be achieved in a short space of time and it is great fun too.
