Your exercise regime shouldn’t stop just because it’s dark and wet. But lots of us are nervous to run alone in the dark or dislike working out on wet ground. That’s why we have created BMF Run Club.
BMF Run Club offers all the support and motivation you’d expect from a BMF class, but without the burpees! We use firm, lit paths and the class is suitable for all abilities. You’ll also be able to enjoy BMF classes at no extra cost.
Whether you are new to running, need support training for a specific event or just fancy some company whilst running, come along to your first class absolutely free, and try for yourself.
Our running clubs, just like British Military Fitness classes, are suitable for all fitness levels. We’re here to help you start your journey so bring your trainers and a willingness to take part and we’ll do the rest!
Every class is varied so there’s no exact format. You should expect a group warm up followed by a mixture of running drills, exercises to strengthen your core muscles, speed work, team work as well as some education and theory to explain why you’re doing specific drills. There will be a water break half way through and a cool down at the end.
Yes, it’s for all fitness abilities with the desire to get fitter and faster. No one will be left behind and you’ll receive encouragement throughout from qualified running instructors and members alike.
