Alexandra Palace is a formidable setting with steep inclines leading up to the massive centre piece of the palace itself. Within the park there is a boating lake and children's playgrounds as well as numerous benches and dwarf walls; perfect for a huge variety of exercises.

Jeremy Bearder

Jeremy joined BMF in March 2008 after serving in the Junior Leaders Regiment Royal Artillery and the 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery. In that time he served in the army in Germany, Cyprus, Canada and the UK. He also represented his Regiment in Football, Rugby and Athletics becoming Junior Army Discus champion. He also enjoys skiing, tennis, and was a world record holder for almost 2 weeks. Apparently there is an interesting story behind that, but you have to turn up to his parks to find it out. Jeremy loves working outside in the parks and watching peoples attitude to life change when they join BMF.

    A lot of people give up on fitness programmes because they become bored. That doesn’t happen at BMF. Variety and making every session different is the key to our success. Each week you’ll be put through a challenging, effective workout with team games, paired exercises, circuits, strength work and running.

    You are not alone. Every week, you’ll be with your fellow BMFers. With the encouragement of your instructor you’ll be helping each other out, keeping everyone going and keeping them moving. They’ll be doing the same for you – BMF is all about getting fit together.
