A true natural masterpiece, Danson Park is blessed with a wildlife-rich lake and a large wet woodland filled with imposing, century-old trees. Take a deep breath as you gaze around the idyllic setting but take an even deeper breath as you get ready to embark on a heart-pumping and adrenaline-filled workout like no other. By participating in BMF at Danson Park you can lose weight, improve your fitness, increase your self-esteem & meet new people all at once and thanks to our highly professional yet fun instructors, you are guaranteed a supreme, full body workout no matter your ability.

Paul Derham

Paul served as a section Commander for the Royal Marines Commando Reserve and was deployed around the world, from the desert to the jungle and everywhere in between. He enjoys getting to know the members, understanding their goals and targets, working hard during the sessions to help them achieve and, ultimately, having a great time. In his spare time he loves being in the mountains, climbing and canoeing, and just being outdoors in general. Come on down to the park for some serious fun with Paul and his team.

Meeting Point

The meeting point is the car park opposite the Children's playground 100m west of the Danson Stables pub. There are 2 entrances to the park, one from the East via Danson Road, A221. The other is from the west via Danson Lane. The park's address is Danson Road, Welling DA6 9HL.

Car: From the A2 via A221 or A207, Limited car parking available on site. A charge is payable at weekends and bank holidays from April to September.    

Public Transport

Bus: 89, 96, 486, B14, B16
Train: Welling and Bexleyheath stations

    British Military Fitness (BMF) outdoor fitness classes are a proven and trusted way of getting fit, losing weight and feeling great. The average total calories burned during a session across all three groups (blue, red, and green) is 640

    A lot of people give up on fitness programmes because they become bored. That doesn’t happen at BMF. Variety and making every session different is the key to our success. Each week you’ll be put through a challenging, effective workout with team games, paired exercises, circuits, strength work and running.

    You are not alone. Every week, you’ll be with your fellow BMFers. With the encouragement of your instructor you’ll be helping each other out, keeping everyone going and keeping them moving. They’ll be doing the same for you – BMF is all about getting fit together.
