Welcome to Northampton School for Boys

Just like our outdoor sessions, the indoor classes are designed to offer an authentic military style of fitness led by our highly-trained BMF instructors. The classes are ideal for members who are looking for an alternative to training in all weather conditions. They are also great as added variety to our outdoor classes and offer just as fun and challenging a workout.

Billy Hawkins

Billy was in the Royal Army Medical Corp as well as an all arms physical training instructor. He spent time attached to various infantry battalions in locations across the world, including Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, the Falkland Islands and Germany.  He enjoys a number of adventure sports including skiing and climbing.  What does he love most about BMF? Training outdoors and coming up with workouts that can’t be done in a gym!

Meeting Point

Meeting point:  The meeting point is at the car park next to Sports Centre at Northampton School for Boys. Postcode: NN1 5RT

Directions:  From Abington Park – Follow Park Avenue South (A5095) Southwards.  At traffic lights turn right onto Billing Road.   Follow for approximately 0.3 miles and entrance to the sports facilities is on the left just after the main school entrance.  Follow the road down to the main car park outside the sports hall.

    A lot of people give up on fitness programmes because they become bored. That doesn’t happen at BMF. Variety and making every session different is the key to our success. Each week you’ll be put through a challenging, effective workout with team games, paired exercises, circuits, strength work and running.

    You are not alone. Every week, you’ll be with your fellow BMFers. With the encouragement of your instructor you’ll be helping each other out, keeping everyone going and keeping them moving. They’ll be doing the same for you – BMF is all about getting fit together.
