Welcome to Victoria Embankment

On a Tuesday and Thursday nights Victoria Embankment provides a great venue for BMF sessions. Set alongside the River Trent, this park has everything we need to get you fit, including benches, walls and ledges. During the winter when the dark nights set in, the great lighting around the river allows for excellent training.

Mark Betts

Mark served with the Royal Engineers for over 30 years and has been lucky enough to travel to all the major continents. He has many Physical Training qualifications under his belt and has a passion for all kinds of physical activity, especially if it’s different, fun and outdoors. Mark’s ultimate goal is to ensure that each individual becomes the most awesome version of themselves, so come on down to the park and let Mark and his team help you become your best.

Public Transport

Bus: The nearest bus routes to the park are 11 and 11C. These stop on Bathley Street, which is about 2 minutes from the meeting point. However, the following routes also allow very good access to the park: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5a, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, N6 and L1 All go over Trent Bridge, which is 5 10 minutes walk from the meeting point

Each week you’ll be put through a challenging, effective workout with team games, paired exercises, circuits, strength work and running.

    You are not alone. Every week, you’ll be with your fellow BMFers. With the encouragement of your instructor you’ll be helping each other out, keeping everyone going and keeping them moving. They’ll be doing the same for you – BMF is all about getting fit together.
